The Bendix K099855 is a Premium Cab ECU from the EC-60 line, an anti-lock braking system electronic control unit, sold by Pro Gear and Transmission as a genuine Bendix part.
An ABS controller watches the turning of each wheel during braking and, when a wheel starts to slip or lock, pulses brake pressure at that wheel through the modulator valves. Premium versions of this controller family also add automatic traction control, which can limit engine torque or brake an individual wheel to improve traction.
