The Bendix 802805 is a WS-24 wheel speed sensor for anti-lock braking systems. It works with a toothed exciter ring: a magnet and coil inside the sensor produce a signal pulse as each tooth passes, and the anti-lock controller reads those pulses to work out wheel speed.
