Bendix 802926 TP-5 Tractor Protection Valve for heavy-duty tractor-trailer air brake systems. A single body combines a shut-off that exhausts the service line, a quick release, and a pair of check valves on the tractor control circuit. If the air lines to the trailer separate or rupture, the valve cuts off the trailer supply so the tractor keeps its own air for braking. It has ports for the trailer supply, the service line, the control line and the stop-light switch, and it can be mounted on a panel or a cross-member.
