Bendix K108565 trailer ABS module. It is a trailer ABS controller and modulator in one unit: the ECU and the modulator relay valve share a single housing. In normal braking it acts as a relay valve and passes the application through, and when it senses a wheel heading toward lockup it steps in and pulses the brakes to keep the trailer stable. Fault codes show up as blink codes and over a diagnostic link, so a technician can start on an ABS warning light without special equipment.
