The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XGDAX-P5XD or 282XGDAXP5XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding applications including aerial equipment, towing and recovery, construction, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Intermittent torque capacity runs 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (check application pages for actual torque ratings).
