The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off, part number 272XCESX-A3XD or 272XCESXA3XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO rated for up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque. The 272 Series consolidates the older 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single, more capable platform, offering nine speed ratios and eighteen shift configurations. Shift options include pneumatic (air) or hydraulic actuation, and the unit comes with an integral air control valve. Direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology to extend PTO and pump shaft life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start option for high-torque start-up conditions.
