The Chelsea 281LCFJW-B5TK is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot shift Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series advances on the proven 280 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch discs that are 80% thicker than the previous generation. The series carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and supports output power of 56 HP or greater, with nine available speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. Common markets include refuse, fire and rescue, truck cranes, and pumper cleaner applications.
