The Chelsea 272GCAJX-A3XR is a 6-bolt hot shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed for medium-duty truck applications including aerial, construction, water truck, and towing and recovery work. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift, with an integral air control valve included. The series consolidates and replaces the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series PTOs into a single, more capable unit. Nine speed ratios and 18 shift options make it one of the most configurable medium-duty hot shift PTOs available. Output shaft options include round shaft configurations, and direct-mount outputs can be specified with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended service life on the PTO and pump shaft. Smart-Start is available for high-torque start-up conditions.
