The Chelsea 272MCAJP-L5XR is a 6-bolt hot shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed for medium-duty truck applications in aerial, construction, water truck, and towing and recovery markets. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift, including an integral air control valve. The series consolidates the former 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 PTO lines into a single, flexible platform with nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Output shaft options include round shaft configurations with key drives. The 272 Series also supports the Wet-Spline option for extended PTO and pump shaft service life, and the Smart-Start option for high-torque engagement conditions.
