The 281 Series is an evolution of the Chelsea 280 Series PTO. Enhancements include a ductile iron bearing cap (117% stronger), an o-ring sealing configuration to reduce vibrational effects, and 80% thicker clutch pack steel discs. An optional wet spline lubrication configuration provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. SmartStart technology is available on select configurations to reduce shock load at start-up.
