The Chelsea 281GKFJP-B3RZ is a 281 Series Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. This is a hydraulically shifted, hot-shift (PowerShift) PTO rated for continuous operation with a series continuous torque characteristic of 390 lb-ft. The 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker steel clutch pack compared to the prior 280 Series. The 281 Series is an evolution of the Chelsea 280 Series PTO. The series supports nine speed ratios including low and high speeds, an optional wet spline lubrication system for extended shaft life, and an Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) feature to protect driven equipment.
