The Chelsea 281GPFJP-D5RY is a 281 Series PowerShift Power Take-Off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. It operates as a hydraulically shifted hot shift unit capable of continuous duty at up to 390 lb-ft of torque. The 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring seal between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with steel discs 80% thicker than the previous generation. Nine available speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. The 281 Series also supports Electronic Overspeed Control and an optional wet spline lubrication configuration.
