281GTFJR-D5XD Chelsea Power Take-Off

The Chelsea 281GTFJR-D5XD is a 281 Series PowerShift (hydraulic) power take-off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar platforms. The 281 Series mounts directly to the 10-bolt aperture and is rated for continuous operation, making it a fit for demanding markets such as fire and rescue, refuse, pumper/cleaner, and truck crane applications. The series carries a continuous duty torque rating of 390 lb-ft and delivers up to 74 HP at 1,000 RPM from the output shaft. The evolved 281 design features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than the previous gray iron unit, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker steel clutch disc pack for extended service life.
