The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XBDAX-A3XD or 282XBDAX?3XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern. The 282 Series supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift options and delivers intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm). Output shaft options within the series include a 1-1/4 in. round shaft with 5/16 in. key and a 1 in. round shaft with 1/4 in. key. The series covers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift configurations, making it adaptable across aerial, construction, water truck, towing and recovery, and fuel oil delivery applications. The 282 Series is suited for aerial, construction equipment, water truck, towing and recovery, and home fuel oil delivery applications. The series features an integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional Wet-Spline output for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. A positive stop on driveshaft output variants helps prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes.
