The Chelsea 282XMAJX-15XD is a 282 Series medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off unit built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern. The 282 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and delivers up to 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift options include pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Output shaft configurations across the series include a 1-1/4" round shaft with 5/16" key and a 1" round shaft with 1/4" key. Rotatable flanges and a wet-spline option support flexible installation. The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining the 238 Series with updated components. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. A positive stop on driveshaft outputs helps prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes.
