The Chelsea 282XPAJX-15XD is a medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 282 Series, available from Pro Gear and Transmission. The 282 Series uses an 8-bolt mounting configuration and supports pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift operation. Intermittent torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) across the series. Output shaft options within the 282 Series include a 1-1/4" round shaft with 5/16" key and a 1" round shaft with 1/4" key. With nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, the 282 Series suits aerial, construction equipment, water truck, towing and recovery, and fuel oil delivery applications. The Wet-Spline option (where applicable) extends PTO and pump shaft service life.
