The Chelsea 288GBFJP-M3RF is a 288 Series Heavy Duty Constant Mesh Power Take-Off built on the proven 281 Series platform. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with a round shaft output (1-1/4" key). The 288 Series features ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than the gray iron caps used on its predecessor, the 287 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The standard output shaft incorporates a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Wet Spline lubrication is part of this unit's designation, channeling a clean flow of oil through the PTO and pump shaft to extend shaft life.
