The Chelsea 288GGFJP-M8RS is a 288 Series heavy-duty constant mesh Power Take-Off built on a 10-bolt mounting configuration. The 288 Series delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft and features a ductile iron bearing cap that is 117% stronger than the gray iron caps used in its predecessor, the 287 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the effects of engine vibration. The standard round shaft output (1-inch with 1/4-inch key) includes a positive stop to eliminate oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Nine speed ratios are available within the series, covering both low and high speed applications. Common markets for this series include snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse equipment.
