The Chelsea 489DAMAX-V6XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, engineered to bolt directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at an intermittent torque of 201-300 lb-ft, with output power spanning 46-55 HP. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
