The Chelsea 489XFITX-A3RK is an 8-bolt mechanical/wire-cable shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for increased load capacity. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Part number 489XFITX-A3RK or 489XFITXA3RK.

Kit-style construction simplifies field service. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing provides the same torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series while eliminating the adapter plate used in traditional multi-piece designs. Internal components are shared with the 442 Series, supporting parts commonality across a fleet. Typical markets include aerial, vocational and municipal equipment, and other mobile applications.
