The Chelsea 489XHDAX-V5XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt aperture found on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Available through Pro Gear and Transmission.
