The Chelsea 489XHDAX-A5RF is an 8-bolt mechanical shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4 inch round shaft with key.
