The Chelsea 489XLAHX-A3XE is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and shares internal parts with the 442 Series.
