The Chelsea 489XQAHX-W3XJ is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening and eliminates the adapter plate leak path. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the 442 Series, with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The round output shaft measures 1-1/4 inch with keyway. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
