The Chelsea 489XQAHX-W5AF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmission openings from manufacturers such as Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
