The Chelsea 489XRABX-A5XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft, and the series offers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
