The Chelsea 489XRAHX-M3RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on applications including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on earlier designs, cutting both installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
