The Chelsea 871XGFJW-D5RS is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic-shift) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. Its compact housing is engineered to reduce clearance conflicts in tight installations, and the ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in the predecessor 870 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The 871 Series supports wet spline lubrication and is available in nine speed ratios across thirteen output configurations. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.

Additional Information
The Chelsea 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series PTO. Upgrades include a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than the gray iron cap in the 870 Series, plus an o-ring sealing configuration that reduces the damaging vibrational effects associated with modern engine designs. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO line to offer all three of Chelsea's high-demand options together: Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up for demanding applications, while the optional Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment from overspeed damage. Typical markets for the 871 Series include fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper cleaners, and refuse vehicles.Parts Manual: Chelsea 871 Series PTO Parts Manual (PDF) — exploded views, item numbers and the full parts breakdown for this series.
