The Chelsea 878LAQTW-M3TZ is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 878 Series, engineered to mount on Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of torque in a compact package, rated for both continuous and intermittent duty. Key design advances over the predecessor 877 Series include a ductile iron bearing cap that is 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and clutch pack steel discs increased in thickness by 80%. The series offers nine speed ratios and a wet spline lubrication option for extended shaft life. Pro Gear and Transmission carries genuine Chelsea PTO units for heavy-duty vocational applications including refuse, vacuum, aerial, and snow and ice equipment.
