The Chelsea 878XEFJP-M5RK is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 878 Series, engineered to mount on Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of torque in both intermittent and continuous duty applications, making it one of the highest-torque PTOs available in its package size. Key design improvements over the predecessor 877 Series include a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch disc thickness increased by 80%. The cast iron housing supports rotatable flanges to reduce interference clearance issues. Common applications include snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse markets.

Additional Information
The Chelsea 878 Series is an evolution of the proven 877 Series platform. A wet spline lubrication option (suffix "W") provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life compared to standard lubrication. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce installation interference issues, and a positive-stop driveline output eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact. The hose is included with the unit. Applicable markets include snow and ice removal, vacuum trucks, aerial equipment, and refuse vehicles.
