The Chelsea 272XPAJX-V5XV is a 6-bolt hot shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 272 Series, a medium-duty PTO platform that consolidates multiple predecessor series into a single, flexible unit. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and is available with either pneumatic or hydraulic shift. An integral air control valve is included, and output options span round shaft configurations with direct-mount or driveshaft outputs. Wet-Spline technology is available for extended PTO and pump shaft life, and the Smart-Start option handles high-torque start-up conditions. Common applications for this series include aerial, construction equipment, water trucks, and towing and recovery.
