The Chelsea 489GRAHX-A5XY is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, using tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Wire/cable mechanical shift operation. Output shaft is a 1-1/4 in. round shaft with key. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
