The Chelsea 489GRAHX-P3GH is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing uses mechanical wire/cable shift and features a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft with pressure lubrication (P-designation). The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Common applications include utility trucks, dump trucks, and snow and ice removal equipment. A genuine Chelsea part available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
