The Chelsea 489XLAHX-V3GJ is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing installation time and potential leak paths. Shift is via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with eleven internal speed ratios available across the series.
