The Chelsea 489XSBGX-H3XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for improved load handling.
