The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GLAHX-A5GB or 489GLAHXA5GB, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46-55 HP at the output. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
