The Chelsea 489GRAHX-A3XX or 489GRAHXA3XX is an 8-bolt power take-off from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series supports twenty-seven output configurations and eleven internal speed ratios, making it adaptable across utility truck, dump truck, fire and rescue, and snow removal applications.
