The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489KQITX-H3XK or 489KQITXH3XK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. This 489 Series unit has no shift assembly and features tapered bearings for greater load capacity compared to needle-bearing designs. Output is via an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Series intermittent torque rating runs 201-300 lb-ft. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
