The Chelsea 489KRAHX-A5XK or 489KRAHXA5XK is a Power Take-Off (PTO) unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. This series features strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series.
