The Chelsea 489QFMEX-56RY or 489QFMEX56RY is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on applications such as Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for improved load capacity, with an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series. Shift is wire or cable mechanical.
