The Chelsea 489QHLZX-D3XK or 489QHLZXD3XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path common on other designs. Output is through a 7/8-13T shaft with an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange mount. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for stronger load capacity, and internal parts are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series. Wire/cable mechanical shift actuation.
