The Chelsea 489XQAHX-A5GJ or 489XQAHXA5GJ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power of 46-55 HP, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The shift type is wire/cable mechanical, and the output shaft is a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
