The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQITX-V5XD or 489XQITXV5XD, is an 8-bolt mechanical-shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46 to 55 HP output. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
