The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XRAHX-W5RK or 489XRAHXW5RK mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Intermittent torque rating is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm). Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4 in. round shaft with key. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Suited for utility trucks, dump trucks, snow and ice removal, and fire and rescue applications.
