The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRITX-S3XK or 489XRITXS3XK, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for the 8-bolt mounting aperture found on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating an additional potential leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
