The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSITX-H5RA or 489XSITXH5RA, is an 8-bolt mechanical-shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The series is rated for intermittent torque of 201 to 300 lb-ft and output power of 46 to 55 HP. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
