The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSITX-W5GK or 489XSITXW5GK, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without requiring an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates an adapter plate leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the 442 Series. Intermittent torque rating falls in the 201-300 lb-ft range (301-400 Nm), with output power of 46-55 HP (31-40 kW). The round 1-1/4" keyed output shaft is supported by tapered bearings for stronger load capacity than needle-bearing designs. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
