The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XWAHX-A3RK or 489XWAHXA3RK, is a mechanical-shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate required on older designs and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series fits most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. Intermittent torque rating for the series runs 201-300 lb-ft. Output is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The round output shaft accepts a 1-1/4" key.
