The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XWBGX-W3XK or 489XWBGXW3XK, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to adapter-plate designs. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capacity. The series covers intermittent torque ratings of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP, with a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft.
