The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUAHX-W3XK or 489XUAHXW3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. This series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration. Wire and cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit. The one-piece cast iron housing uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
